"... And So It Begins"
A new life for this fawn began just minutes before the shot was taken. Momma doe and baby were discovered in my backyard as I emerged from my basement door headed to the studio.
This image was titled in remembrance of Ellie Lincoln who died at the age of two. The Lincoln family, proprietors of Willow Creek Restaurant in Evergreen, Colorado were given the honor of naming the photo coinciding with Ellie's birthday and "Ellie's Evening" an annual event benefitiing Mt. Evans Home Health & Hospice. This photo is available as a Limited Edition Photographic Art Print.
